Thank you for taking an interest in serving as a Board Member for the Canadian Art Therapy Association. The following are things you can do to get started:
Complete the Director Application form.
Obtain two written letters of reference or a nomination from a CATA-ACAT member in good standing.
Board applications are welcome at any time throughout the year and we will do our best to get you involved in your area of interest as soon as possible. The election of Directors takes place at the organization’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is usually held in Fall of each year. However, should there be a vacancy during the year, the Board can appoint individuals as officers to make up the full representation for the remainder of the year. It should be noted that individuals will be required to complete the appropriate screening process applicable to the Board position.
